Summary

The goal of the ASG Dissemination Instrument Scientific Session is to exchange knowledge of competent partner institutions of ASG-Consortium to support an effective project ongoing based on own, well-known experiences or solutions.
The Scientific Session "ASG Prototype Development" has the attempt to provide and evaluate the overall ASG platform development process in order to achieve the overarching goal of developing an open platform for adaptive service discovery, creation, composition and enactment. In particular setting up an effective prototype release plan, refining and deliberating steps in the the development process as well as finding correlations beetween usage scenarios and the demonstration of prototypes are in focus.

Prototype Development Challenges
  • Provision and evaluation of an overall ASG platform development process, including
    • Tools and Assets
    • Refinement of requirements
    • Definition of prototype cycles, roles and subsystems
    • Set up an effective release plan oriented on major project milestones
  • Evaluation of an Usage Scenario in relation to platform features, functionality and prototype demonstration capabilities
  • Evaluation and refinement ASG Data types regarding specification and handling
